II. PURPOSE/TASKS
The core tasks of the BU xxxx DESIGN DIRECTOR CHINA are:
-achieving the BU specific objectives and implementing the strategies of the BU in accordance with the
company's principles and policy for China
-responsibility for BU DESIGN KPI’s of GUA
-supporting and advising of the MD GUA in all BU DESIGN related issues.
-supporting and advising of the MD FOS in all BU DESIGN related issues.
ACTIVITY
Implementation of the strategic goals of the Business Unit Design in GUA. Identify and execute necessary improvement of GUA factory on BU Design businesses (quality issues, capacity, technical performance, profitability, cost).
Develop objectives, timelines and role of all team members of GUA and asignment of job. Identify and executive necessary improvements. Set up regular communication channels between GUA and FOS.
Interface for intercontinental communication between Europe and China – for all production, technology, R&D and quality related issues. Partner for BU Controlling in GUA.
Coordination Design Production in GUA and FOS.
Controlling/coordination delivery, capacity, ability and reliability of both factories.Establish an efficient material flow between the factories
Interface between finance and administrative of GUA and FOS:
for all finance/administrative related issues.
Stock Management and WC responsibility for common range FOS/GUA
Coordination of CAPEX for BU DESIGN FOS and GUA. Discussion with factory, production, engeneering, supplier and headquarter.
Responsibility for CAPEX budget
Develop CIP (Continues Improvement Processes) for FOS - together with MD of Foshan. Harmonize CIP processes between GUA and FOS
Coordination of activities with Citiking: budget, sales activities, new develoments, settlement of customer complaints. Regular sales meetings with Citiking to exchange information
V. EXPECTATIONS / AIMS FOR THE POSITION
1、BU Design director will have full authority with support from MD GUA to lead the team Guangzhou in regard of Design (R&D, Production, QC) and delegate the jobs to the team members
2、Very close relationship to MD Foshan
3、Project “modernization” print department GUA
4、Project leader for the new BU DESIGN “goes circular” – reduce, refuse, reuse and recycle (sustainability)
5、Project leader for the BU DESIGN integration process between JV and GZ mid term
