Responsibility 1: Specification Review and Development. Review product specification and all associated standards and identify the tests required to satisfy these specifications. Develop a Design Verification Plan to represent the approach required to perform the testing identified in the specification. Identify all equipment and processes required to perform the tests and establish whether the equipment is available at CTS. If equipment is not available, provide a list of needs to supervisor.

Responsibility 2: Specification and Design of Test Laboratory Equipment. Attend design reviews on test equipment and fixture to provide technical support and direction to the tooling design and manufacture. Identify critical requirements of equipment to be purchased and establish viable sources for the equipment that meets the testing requirements.

Responsibility 3: Test Process Development. As a result of specification review, identify test processes that are new to CTS and develop the methodology to satisfy the test requirements. Evaluate current testing process inefficiencies and identify modifications in equipment or methodology to improve efficiency of the testing process.

Responsibility 4: Test Performance Analysis and Reporting. Review data provided as a result of requested tests and provide detailed analysis of testing performance issues as well as product performance issue. Provide a formal report of test results for Design Verification Testing and Product Validation testing in the requested format for submission to the responsible CTS engineer. Complete the test log process by providing the appropriate remarks summarizing the test results in the Test Log Database with reference to any formal reports generated.

Responsibility 5: Support Product Teams on Development of New Applications.
