Purpose of Duties
Guarantee start up and production on a daily basis. It is in charge of setting up purchasing procedures and purchasing plans based on company’s strategy and production requirement. Implement the purchasing plans and guarantee the adequate delivery of required goods, at competitive and reasonable price and according to standard.
Job Description
1.Planning:
a)Prepare purchase plan in order to meet the needs of company (production and other departments), prepare the annual and monthly purchase plans based on company’s sales and production plans, these purchase plans should be revised timely according to any actual change.
b)Set up the key challenges for purchase team and implement the measures for the key challenges with the staffs.
2.Ensuring profits:
a)Prepare purchasing regulations / standards in line with company's rules. Then carry out accordingly and evaluated regularly the purchasing plan (Quality, Cost, Delivery). Run purchasing function by comparing purchasing prices and goods quality, selecting qualified suppliers and surveying supplier regularly.
b)Monitor all the purchasing activities of the plant by coordinating and solving the problems occurring during implementation. In order to guarantee the supply of goods timely and correctly, establish regulations for storing, delivering managements of purchased goods
3.Environmental and social responsibility:
a)Contract verification. In order to protect company’s rights, is in charge of verifying purchasing contracts and monitoring the implementation of these contracts.
b)Promote the green purchase and green procurement.
c)Promote the recycle activities for waste materials.
4.Human resources development: In order to improve department’s working efficiency and increase employee’s satisfaction, optimize the business procedures by reasonably allocating internal human resources, developing staff’s ability and cooperating with HR department regarding recruitments, evaluation, training...
Requirements
1.More than 5 years work experiences as purchasing manager in a manufacturing context (in a plant.
2.Bachelors degree or above, Familiar with inventory control and supplier management.)
3.Knowledge of automotive glass materials and process, fluent English ability. Computer literacy. Able to start activity from 0. Combine administration skills (Law, Finance, Planning) and negotiation abilities.
4.Knowledge of Guanddong area (in terms of suppliers and external contacts)
