Tooling Manager SUMMARY: Persons employed in this position are responsible for, but not limited to, supervising new project tooling technical discuss with supplier and all tooling in house maintenance and machine workshop, all equipments in factory maintenance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Leader for new project tooling plan, including selecting vendor, tooling RFQ and cost down; tooling design review and tooling vendor performance evaluation。 Support Purchasing dept. to plastics components plan from tooling viewpoint. Charging all tooling maintenance in house and in supplier and tooling spare parts as well. Organizing and planning factory all equipments maintenance and spare parts management. Based on the request from the other department, manage machine workshop to support new project and mass production. Be responsible for safety and fire control. Manage the corresponding employee and monitor their routine jobs REQUIREMENTS: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment. Good problem solving, decision-making, time-management and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail Good PC skills. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design and manufacture or related field or equivalent experience, Tool and Die Technology is plus. 5 years experience with tooling, dies, molds and related tool room equipment and the corresponding molding and crimping equipments.
