Job Title: Head of South China, Inspection & Factory Audit Report to: VP of Asia Operations Job Summary (Brief overview on scope of job responsibility) ·Responsible for monitoring the overall performance of inspection business / operation in south China, building up business strategy & improvement plan with implementation schedule & deployment of necessary resources to foster the long-term business development in the region. Interrelationships (Other key functional or communication lines) ·Work with Operating Office, Sales Office, Regional & Business line managers, QA, HR, IT, Finance Department & Key Account Managers. Job Responsibility & Accountability (Key roles, functions & accountabilities) ·Responsible for leading the IAC business operations and plans in south China. ·Responsible for leading the Business Development team to hit the sales targets in south China. ·Provide leadership, direction and management to the operations in south China with the primary objective of achieving the highest customer satisfaction and meeting business line objectives. ·Formulate and implement plans and strategies to achieve agreed business line goals and objectives inline with growth strategies, budgets/plan, capacity building, human resources, quality assurance, integrity, credit control & collections. ·Ensure that resources are effectively deployed to ensure operations’ conformity with SOP’s / BV values / Code of ethics through effective training and implementation of the groups QA systems. (ISO17020/9001) ·Conduct investigation, reporting and appropriate follow-up action concerning clients complaint or reporting from internal auditor. ·Oversee business forecasts/targets, annual budgets and manpower plans. ·Develop, establish & maintain a high level of strategic contact with customers to identify new business opportunities and changes in customer profiles & demand ·Report local situation & insight through monthly reports and/or bi-weekly conference calls to the CPS committee & propose / recommend any appropriate actions. ·Ensure the effective communication and co-ordination of joint programs and objectives with other BV divisions and associated companies/subsidiaries within south China. ·Communicate the architecture, roadmap and principles of the strategic solutions to local users, development teams and top management to ensure common vision and approach, as well as alignment with overall strategy and technologies. ·Create an environment, which encourages open & transparent communication through monthly reporting and group meetings with key management staff. Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position) ·Bachelors Degree with at least 10 to 15 years of experience in inspection related business whereas at least 5 years at managerial level. ·With proven track record in internal/external client relationship management. ·Superior attention to detail with ability to analyze, problem solve and follow-up with solutions in a time sensitive environment ·Strong interpersonal skills and drive for results with the ability in established long term cooperating relationships with customer. ·Strong written and verbal communication skills with understanding & strong alert in local know-how & other cultural factors. ·Excellent leadership and strong business acumen. ·Proficient in written and spoken English and Cantonese/Mandarin. ·With sales experience is an advantage.
