Position: Vice DM Job Description: 1. Manage and coordinate all design works involved in the plan, design, and aesthetic development of FO products 2. Oversee status and progress of all the design works (inc. graphics and market collaterals) needed for market and production and ensure it is delivered to the requesting party according to the schedule; 3. Supervise staff, assign jobs, and monitor quality of work; direct various personnel functions including, but not limited to hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and so on; 4. Prepare reports and analyses reflecting progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions 5. Build, maintain, and optimize systems for processing designs, which include workflows, procedures, and documents 6. Build, maintain, and optimize design platform, which include design software, filing & archiving system, internal knowledge base, and etc. Qualification 1. 10+ years design working experience, 3+ years working experience as a design director in a medium size (or above) design firm 2. Very strong knowledge of industrial process for furniture design, or interior design, or product design 3. Good communication and management skill 4. Good language skill (English) 5. Working experience of managing several large design projects
